A DANÇA DAS COISAS ENTRE SI (The Dance of Things Between Each Other) is a poetic manifesto on artistic creation with children, which looks at the creation and research developed within the scope of the Artistic Laboratory – an ongoing project in which an artist-educator provides space-time for encounters with children aged between 1 and 6 at the Tom da Terra Eco-School in Sesimbra. Year after year, the Artistic Laboratory has been developing as a common ground, as the foundation for the construction of each child’s identity, their relationship with the world and their languages. And for this reason, it seeks to generate as many happy emotional memories as possible – perhaps perpetuating the place of wonder and preserving the transformation of the future in the bodies of those who experience it.
A DANÇA DAS COISAS ENTRE SI é um manifesto poético sobre a criação artística com as infâncias, sobre o qual se olha para a criação e investigação desenvolvida no âmbito do Laboratório Artístico – um projeto de continuidade, no qual um artista-educador, alimenta um espaço-tempo de encontro com pessoas entre 1 e os 6 anos, na Eco-Escola Tom da Terra em Sesimbra. O Laboratório Artístico tem-se vindo a desenvolver, ano após ano, como um chão-comum, a esteira da construção da identidade de cada criança, da sua relação com o mundo e com as suas linguagens. E por isso, quer potenciar o maior número de memórias emocionais felizes – perpetuando, talvez, o lugar do espanto e guardando no corpo de quem as vive a transformação do futuro.
