Christine Roggeman’ s (*1988 BE) artwork depicts the fierce energy of human emotion, transmuting visceral sensations, dreams and natural elements into vivid, colourful expressions. Through a fusion of tenderness and raw expression, her drawings and paintings become displays of immersion wherein nature, imagination and body self intertwine.
In the exhibition birth despite pain, Christine Roggeman will show recent paintings and drawings, some of which were created during her residency at Três Sacadas in February 2026.
